Description:

Google Docs is a free, web-based word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, form, and data storage service offered by Google. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. Google Docs can be used in the classroom with students or to share documents with colleagues. The possibilities are endless!

Assignment:

1. Explore the websites below in "Google Documents" to learn about Google docs.
2. Go to https://docs.google.com and explore Google Documents (documents, spreadsheets and presentations).
3. Create a new page on your wiki called "Google Documents." On the "Google Documents" page, journal about ideas you have for using Google Docs in the classroom.
4. Create a Google Form. On the DISCUSSION tab of this page, respond to the question and paste a link to your form. Complete the forms of at least 3 participants.
5. Go to Google Templates and search for a lesson plan template. Use the lesson plan template to create a lesson plan in which you share a Google document or form with students. Upload the lesson plan to the Google Documents page on your wiki (follow the same instructions you used in previous weeks for uploading files).
